About Patty Colabuono
I fell in love with photography when I was given my first camera at the age of 8. My interest really took off when I bought my first big girl camera, a Canon AE-1. While I've always enjoyed taking pictures of family and friends, my true passion is nature - particularly extreme close-ups. Theres such beauty in the smallest details of even the most ordinary things! I enjoy looking at things in new ways, creating photos that elicit feelings of wonder and serenity.
I've been selling my photos at art shows and in retail stores for 15 years. I currently use a Canon 80d with a variety of lenses - Canon 100mm macro, Canon 70-300mm DO IS, and Tokina 12-24mm wide angle.
First Prize in 2014 Arts Unlimited Competition.
